Jakarta - Day 1

by - 2:04 PM

This trip was back on 2008.  We arrived Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Jakarta at 8.00am. Airasia did a good job back then. The flight was departed from LCCT sharp on time. We took the Damri Shuttle Bus from to Jakarta town. The Damri shuttle bus route runs between Rawamangun, Blok M / Kebayoran, Gambir for Rp20,000 per person and to neighboring cities Bekasi, Depok & Bogor for Rp30,000 per person. The journey from the airport to Jakarta city took around 1 hour. The bus was very comfortable and the services operates until midnight. Look for DAMRI ticket booths and bus stops to buy the ticket on the left side of the International Arrival Hall.

Another option is to take a metered taxi located in front of the arrival terminal. Flagfall will be Rp3,000 and Rp1,300 for each additional kilometer. An additional surcharge from the airport is Rp3,000 plus Rp 4,000 for the toll road.
Note : There are only 2 reliable Taxi Company. Silver Bird & Blue Bird.
